My Sewing Attempt…

Progress on my apron is going slow. Very slow. More like non-existent. My machine is acting up and I don’t know how to fix it. The thread keeps bunching up inside, and I’ve tried playing around with it, but so far nothing has worked. Everything always looks normal until I go to make a stitch. Some suggestions on what may be wrong and how to fix it would be very much appreciated! 🙂

  1. That’s terrible Megan! I hate when my machine messes up too. 🙂 Ummm…let’s see….when mine starts scrunching up like that….I re-thread my top thread and totally re-thread the bottom bobbin thread. Usually that works for me. Have you tried that yet? If I think of anymore suggestions, I’ll definitely let you know! I hope it starts working soon. 🙂

  2. Thanks Alli. I did think of trying that but everytime I would I look at the bobbin, it always looked normal(after I would cut the bunched up string off).

  3. Get to work 🙂 If you don’t finish that apron I’ll never get to wear it:)

  4. I would try rethreading again and again and try playing with the tension on your bobbin (your manual should show you how to adjust it).

  5. Okay, that’s what I’ll do then. Thanks Aunt Em!
